I started my soap quest over 15 years ago on a whim.  Since then, soap making has become an obsession...sounds silly I know.  The combination of the chemical process and the artistic process never ceases to amaze me.    I always go into a batch with one thing in mind, and am lucky if I get close... that is what I love about it most... the constant unknown and the letting go of expectations.  

 

I am an artist at heart and after spending years creating art in different mediums, I had a personal dilemma with making something that would forever be on the planet - though I still hold a deep respect for other artist who produce beautiful pieces.  Soaping has been the perfect answer for me - create something beautiful, environmentally friendly, and has purpose... to be used.
